Dad loved seeing the space shuttle. Here it is returning home on the back of a plane. I'm not sure if he was able to see a takeoff. I know once we planned a trip to see it with him, but it was cancelled due to bad weather. He was disappointed but hopeful to see it another time. I just don't know if that time ever came. Dad loved space. He dreamed of going to space and even talked about going to Mars. He would have loved doing the tourist trip to space as well. He loved to explore the unknown. I miss him.
