I can’t remember a bad day diving the reef in the Florida Keys. I just remember the excitement of having space on dad’s boat and being able to go out and dive. I do remember a few disappointments when a paying customer popped up and I was bumped. It didn’t happen a lot, but I was always sad when I couldn’t join the group. We did have some bad trips to the Everglades and Dry Tortugas, but those stories are for another day. I do have to say that the Dry Tortugas was one of my favorite trips (despite the horrible return trip). Would love to go back one day. Part of me fears that the memories will be better than the next visit. Enjoy your weekend!
