Yes, I am one of those. Star Wars and Star Trek fan. Dad raised us on sci-fi and he LOVED Star Trek during its 3-season run. Hated when they canceled it. He also loved Star Wars when it came out in ’77. We were standing in line waiting to see it. Now, these are Dad’s best picks. It is a running joke in our family gatherings on some of the movies that he loved. For example, Lobster Man from Mars. I would ask my kids to supervise him when he went to the Blockbuster store to pick out movies, but they didn’t have much success on deflecting him from these movies. But, when he got it right, he got it right.
