Mr. Grouper

I am thankful that I have my mom’s pictures to remind me of my parents’ love. Their love for me and my brothers, their brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, and for the sea. For a pair who should have never succeeded in marriage, they did. Their love for each other was paramount. And their philosophy was “them against the world.” They worked as a team. Even when they may have lost temporary sight of their goals, they never lost sight of the team. They had problems, don’t get me wrong. They had many, but they leaned on each other through the tough times. They provided the road map for me to follow in my own marriage (which this year surpassed their number of years’ together.) Enjoy this photo and know it was another example of love.
