Tube Sponge

These tube sponges look like they could be found on an alien planet. They are found in the Caribbean and can be quite beautiful. Could they be from a distant planet, too? The one in front also looks like it has a creature crawling out of it. Could it be an alien scorpion creature? It isn’t hard to understand where artists, writers and movie moguls get their inspiration for their creations. Dad imagined living on distant planets and believed in the possibility that we are not alone in this universe. I can’t say that I don’t disagree. What do you think?
